Shift: Daytime working hours in Turkey, extending into evening hours in order to overlap with the team in the US.

We are looking for an awesome Software Engineer in Turkey who wants to join a 100% remote team developing backend services.

*Design, develop, and implement apps using Go, Rust, or other required technologies.

*Develop and implement complex features and functionalities, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

*Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems.

*Prioritize maintainable and well-tested code.

*Be active in code reviews and discussions to learn, share knowledge, and improve code quality across the codebase.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

* 2 years of experience with one or more server-side languages such as C, C , Go, Rust.

* Experience with databases such as postgresql, mariadb, boltdb.

* Experience with gRPC and REST.

* Comfortable developing for/in a unix environment.

* Previous experience writing unit tests

* Experience in using version control systems, Jira and CI/CD tools.

* Analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Operate in a self-managed capacity.

* Understanding of best practices.

* Being able to understand complex architecture, and able to see the big picture.

* Eager to learn and investigate.

* Being comfortable in design and architecture discussions.

* Self-disciplined, self-starting, and hard-working; able to work with a team scattered around the globe, able to work in flexible schedules.

* Good communication and analytical skills.

* Intermediate level in spoken and written English.
